The HVAC Tie Down Kit Included:
- (2 ) 2400 Series U-Anchors, match roofing material type and brand.
- (1) 12 ft, 3/16”, ss wire rope. (Other wire rope options available upon request.)
- (2) 30/30 Brackets
- (1) Turnbuckle attached to 12 ft, 3/16 cable
- (2) Corner brackets (adhesive tape included)
- (2) 3/16 Wire Rope clips
- (2) 3/8 Flange Nuts
- (2) 3/8 Flat Washers
- (1) Cable Thimble
AP Solution HTD 0640 HVAC Tie-Down secures your rooftop unit to the structure. Tie-downs can be installed with the system or retrofitted as needed.
Winds as light as 50-60 mph can dislodge your outdoor unit from its base, causing damage to the unit and your roof. The HTD 0640 protects your unit from damage and prevents costly repairs. The U-Anchor™ 2000 Series Attachments by Anchor Products have proven effective
in securing HVAC equipment in harshest conditions caused by earthquakes or hurricanes.

» Attaches safely to single-ply, asphalt and coated roofs without damaging the roof using a U-Anchor 2000 Series Attachment.
» The ultimate force resistance of each 2000 series U-Anchor is approximately 2,713 lbs. in tension and 4,339 lbs. in shear.
» The 3/16” stainless steel 7×19 aircraft cable offers a breaking strength of approximately 3700 lbs. (Otherwire rope options available upon request.)
» The U-Anchor can be used with all HVAC Equipment.
» All exposed components and hardware are stainless steel, aluminum, or other non-corrosive materials. U-Anchors
